What exactly is the mobile magic lounge?

Sleights & Spirits is a one-of-a-kind speakeasy-style experience housed inside a beautifully restored 1967 Airstream. We offer an intimate setting with your favorite drinks and a retro, clandestine vibe perfect for special occasions or a unique night out.

We’re mobile! Check our website or social media for public events, or contact us to book your private gathering.

The length of the show is going to depend on the type of event. For the lounge we run two show lengths. For larger events, we do a 15-20 minute show on repeat so that all of your guests have a chance to see the magic. For a smaller event, say 15 guests or less, the show lasts around 90 minutes with a short intermission. Stand up and close up shows outside of the lounge can be anywhere from 20-90 minutes. And strolling magic is very much catered to your event type and what you’re looking for, typically anywhere from 1-3 hours. Shows can also be tailored to your event (e.g. two 45 minute shows for a group of 30). 

Due to the intimate speakeasy vibe, the lounge can comfortably host up to 14 guests. Larger groups can be accommodated with multiple shows, shorter length shows, or a mix of magic both inside and outside of the lounge.

Due to licensing restrictions for mobile bars by the State of Michigan, S&S does not sell or provide any alcohol. We are a dry hire bar, meaning you may provide any alcohol that you and your guests desire, and we provide the rest. This offers a unique and cost effective solution for your event. By providing the alcohol for your event, you avoid the markup often charged by full service bars. Additionally, you’re able to fully customize what drinks we stock for your event and you’ll have full access to our beer/wine fridge as well as our duel tap kegerator. We can provide glassware upon request free of charge for group sizes under 15 people. Bartenders are available for an additional charge. Non-alcoholic drink packages are available upon request and provided by Sleights & Spirits. 

For private events involving alcohol, the lounge is a 21+ experience. However, we can also host a variety of dry events that are family friendly.

We encourage guests to embrace the speakeasy spirit with attire somewhere between business casual and cocktail. While not required, dressing up adds to the immersive experience!

Due to the vintage nature of the 1967 Airstream, accessibility is somewhat limited. The entrance has steps and the interior space is compact. Please contact us to discuss your needs and we’ll do our best to accommodate or suggest alternative arrangements. 

Pricing varies depending on the event type (public pop-up vs private event). Public pop ups are typically shorter show lengths (20min) and have a per person ticket price that includes a welcome non-alcoholic drink, with tickets starting around $10-$15. Private bookings are quoted based on group size, location, and customization. 

Absolutely! Kyle specializes in close-up, interactive magic performed right in front of you. Guests are often invited to participate, making each show unique and unforgettable.

Yes! The Airstream’s unique speakeasy aesthetic is perfect for photoshoots or film projects. Rental rates and availability vary based on duration and set up needs. Contact us for a quote.

We service the Detroit and Detroit metro area. Travel fees apply for locations beyond 35 miles of the Rochester Hills area. 

We can assess your location in advance to ensure accessibility. If the Airstream can’t reach your site, that’s okay. Kyle can perform in your living room, basement, or just about anywhere. 

Sleights & Spirits is Kyle’s personal close-up magic lounge, and yes, in a majority of cases it will be just him. Depending on the size of your event, number of guests, and type of magic desired, additional magicians are available upon request or recommendation by Kyle.

Photography is allowed before and after the performance. Video is not permitted. We encourage guests to fully immerse themselves in the magical experience!
